What information we collect when you use one the Glastonbudget app and why
Periodically, when you access the app we will send a message to our servers. The primary reason for this message is to update the festival programme within the app with any changes that have been made, e.g. new or cancelled show. As part of the request we will also collect the following information (this is an exhaustive list):
- The app version
- Your device information (make, model, os version)
- A unique device id shared by the operating system
- Your network IP address
- Current date, and last updated programme database date

Your approximate location (accurate to less than 100km), if you have enabled location services within the app
- That is longitude and latitude to 2 decimal places
We do not collect any personal data, and none of the above information can be linked to you individually
We use this information for two purposes
- Analytics - to see how many users the app has and how we can best handle network traffic for programme updates
- Platform Security - to help prevent network hacks and attacks

- The page you accessed
- Your network IP address
- The current date and time

As we only require your information to allow the smooth running of the app, data will be deleted shortly after the event is complete, with us only saving aggregated statistical data.
